Lets see.......
My 5 ingredients would definitely start with vanilla ice cream!!
Oppps... that wouldn't work in the classroom.
O.K. then lets start with a dash of patience- we as teachers must always be patient and
take the time to listen even if things seem crazy at times!
next ....how about some compassion- in order to teach you have to be able to put yourself
in the shoes of your students, and try to see how they look at things.
3rd how about some enthusiasm- I could not imagine ever teaching and not showing
the students my excitement. if you show your enthusiasm it will no doubt
rub of on your students!
4th would have to be a dose of organization- It is hard enough now for me to remember things, so i think it would be impossible to run a classroom without some for of organization!
finally it would have to be about 1,000,000 gallons of love- If you cannot find love in your heart and cannot love your job and students, then you have no business being in the classroom!
I believe that children need a positive classroom environment. somewhere they feel safe,
and somewhere they are not afraid to express their ideas. This should be a place they are familiar with, and also a place they look forward to going to each and every day.
I believe that teachers should provide a positive and caring environment. It is our job to create
this environment for the children. we must always get down to the students level and do our
best to guide and support them. we should always give positive feedback to our students, and never make them feel out of place.
I believe schools should be the backbone and support for teachers and the communities they surround. Schools must be the foundation for the classrooms that are inside them. A school will
only be as good as the teachers and staff that are inside them.
